Probate Judge Seeks Applicants for Clermont County Park District Commissioner

Clermont County Probate Court Judge James Shriver seeks applicants willing to serve on the Clermont County Park Board. The appointment will be for a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2025, and ending on December 31, 2027.

The Clermont County Park District operates seven parks, four nature preserves, eight green spaces, and conservation easements encompassing nearly 2,000 acres throughout the County, including the Williamsburg to Batavia Hike Bike Trail. Their Mission Statement is To seek, discover, and enhance Clermont County’s natural abundance. You can read more about the Clermont County Park District on their website.

Individuals interested in serving on the board must submit a cover letter expressing their interest in the seat along with the notarized application.  The applicant must agree to a background check.  You can download the application here. Please bring your cover letter and application to the Probate Court, 2379 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, OH 45103, before 4:00 p.m. July 31, 2024.  Any Application received after 4:00 p.m. will be rejected and not accepted.

This Application must be notarized.  You can obtain a notary at the Clermont County Law Library at 270 East Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103.
